SKY CAMP POLICY
Check in time is 3:00 p.m. and check out time is Noon. If your cabin is available earlier on your arrival date or later on the day you leave, prior arrangements may be made with management to either check in early or stay later at a $10 per hour charge.
Keep your camp/cabin area clean. Trash must be carried to the dumpster at the entrance of Sky Camp. Extra trash bags are available at the office. RV and tent campers are responsible for bringing their own trash bags. Due to wildlife in the area, please do not leave bagged garbage outside your cabin, RV or tent at night. Respect your neighbors and keep music and loud noises to a minimum during the late evening hours. No outside music after midnight.
Please leave doors and windows closed if you are using air conditioning in your cabin. To keep air conditioners from freezing up, please DO NOT set the air conditioner setting past “6” and central air units below 70 degrees. Leave the settings in the refrigerators alone. They are set for maximum cooling.
Please make sure your coffee pot is turned “OFF” after use.
DO NOT clean fish in cabins. A fish cleaning station has been provided for your convenience down near the boat ramp.
DO NOT burn bug repellent candles or other candles in cabins.
DO NOT move tables, cookers, etc. from one yard to another. Only one table per campsite. DO NOT take any cabin furniture (chairs, tables, etc.) outside.
DO NOT smoke inside cabins. You will be charged an extra cleaning fee of $200 if you choose to smoke in the cabins. Any damages resulting from smoking in a cabin will be charged to your final bill. Cigarette butts need to be put in ash trays or trash…not on the ground. IF WE HAVE TO CLEAN UP CIGARETTE BUTTS FROM AROUND YOUR CABIN, YOU WILL BE CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL CLEANING FEE.
Wash any dishes, pots and pans, silverware you use. Dishwashing soap and dishcloths are provided. DO NOT remove any dishes from your cabin.
Pets are not allowed at Skycamp. At this time, we are unable to accommodate Pets. Guests arriving with a pet cannot be accommodated and will be charged 2 nights stay. A list of boarding facilities is available upon request. If you choose to sneak a pet into a cabin, you will be asked to leave and not receive a refund.
There are no open flames allowed with the exception of the BBQ grills and fire rings we provide. Fire rings may not be used if there is a BURN BAN in effect.
There is a special area in the Camp for tents. No tent may be set up without notifying the management of Sky Camp. We realize that our campers may want to have guests visit during their stay at Sky Camp. Due to septic capacity and high water rates, we have guidelines that must be followed. Guests must check in at the office. There will be a $3.00 per person charge for day guests. Overnight guests staying at your campsite will be charged $5.00 per person. Guests may not park in the RV and tent area. Check with management regarding overflow parking.
Guests agree to be financially responsible for any and all damages/missing inventory during the rental period. This includes an extra $25.00 per hour for extra cleaning time and retail cost for missing inventory. If any personal items belonging to guests are left in a cabin, we will hold the items for 30 days. You can call us and make arrangements to have your items shipped at your expense.
DO NOT HARM, CHASE OR THROW OBJECTS AT THE DUCKS OR ANY OTHER WILDLIFE YOU MAY SEE AT SKY CAMP. IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OR REPORTED, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE. NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN.
No swimming in restricted areas. Stay off the boat launch. NO EXCEPTIONS. ANY CHIILD UNDER AGE 12 MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT AND WEAR A LIFE JACKET WHEN SWIMMING OR ON ANY OF THE DOCKS!
NO FIREWORKS, BB GUNS OR DRUGS ALLOWED! NO RECREATIONAL, GAS POWERED SCOOTERS, 4-WHEELERS OR MOTORCYCLES CAN BE RIDDEN WITHIN THE CAMP.
All policies and guidelines have been established to make sure that our guests experience a good and safe time during their stay at Sky Camp. Our insurance company and the Brazos River Authority have established some of these policies.
